In many cases a person is arrested solely based on the judgment of a police officer. The experience, maturity and training of that officer is seldom taken into account. A DUI arrest should not mean conviction. The seriousness of the charge warrants that it is aggressively defended not bargained. The goal is dismissal. Our lead DUI investigator is a former law enforcement officer having served as a patrolman, training officer, field commander, DUI technician and detective. He knows first-hand what an officers does or is supposed to do when making a DUI arrest. He has administered field sobriety tests and breathalyzer tests to suspected DUI violators and trained other officer in the proper procedures beginning with probable cause. Because of these experiences and the ones he has acquired with 13 years as a private investigator, he can examine a DUI case to determine if errors were made by the officers involved in the arrest. This is done not only by reviewing the paperwork and video but also by viewing the arrest sight, conducting interviews, obtaining communications information and other key components of an aggressive DUI defense.
